Chamath,

Your transparency as a human and as investor is an example I hope to one day emulate. Thank you for being so public and your journey, wins and losses. You behavior is a great North Star for the little guys, such as myself to follow. Thank you!

Chamath, I'd like to take you back to Ep#55, released Nov 21, 2021, "we have stocks markets at all time highs, we have crypto at all time highs, etc.. etc.. "

I followed your call to the letter, and subsequently went all-in after the correction in names $pltr and $tsla. I remember seeing $pltr at under $7 but had no money or margin left to buy more. $meta under 100, it was insane. You called it brother and changed my finances forever !!!

I guess the ChatGPT moment was fortunate as well.. lol.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

As I fellow Waterloo grad chem eng '86.. god bless you/forever a fan..

Love the video Chamath. Please keep them coming. Your insights on status were spot on. Would love to hear more on your thoughts on making money... not how to do it per se, but why you think it is / isn't important, when is enough, etc.

Very strong echoes in what you're sharing with Richard Rohr's book, "Falling Upward," which describes the "two halves of life." The first half is ego-driven. The second half, when done well, moves beyond that egocentric approach (after some great calamity or inevitable suffering, such as a loss of a family member, a career failure, or a divorce). Great life lessons to share, thank you!

To learn that you are a stinky South Indian narcisstic piece of shit criminal that is likely 100% gay to the dismay of your parents and gold digging wife that asked you to donate a lotta of rupees to your kids private school- La Scuola. You represent the worst scum of the Earth that prey on all. Go fuck yourself

This video was amazing. I’m going to watch it multiple times over the next few years. There’s a lot of good advice that I think will resonate with each new view. Would love to see more wisdom videos like this, as well as mental models you’ve used to get through challenging obstacles in your career and life.

Thanks for sharing that Chamath. I was nodding my head to every bit, especially how work and home life blend together when you’re in a flow state. I never understood how people could have a work persona and then a home one

I love this, Chamath! Yes, it is NEVER ok to stop. Why wouldn’t you keep learning until you die? Who defines “making it”? And why should we stop after we “make it”.

I totally relate to your point about the status game being completely manufactured.

Thanks for sharing! Please keep making more.
