Good stuff as always. I’m most interested in your recently announced software build utilizing your team and AI. We are a good case study, construction trade will be sexy again within the decade. Boomers selling off and Not enough buyers. Rare also to find intellectuals or progressive thinkers in the space as actual owner operators. Let’s build together.

Maybe the #1 headwind to pro sports valuations right now is the collapse of regional sports networks (RSNs), like Diamond Sports/Bally, which went bust four years after transacting for $10.6B. Diamond and other RSN rights fees make up 15-30% of team revenues in pro team revenues and won’t be coming back anytime soon.

TLDR: only 5% of cable/pay TV subscribers watch RSNs, meaning 95% of RSN revenue comes from pay TV subscribers who don’t watch local sports. After getting the axe from cable and pay TV partners, RSNs are now selling broadcasts DTC, but even retaining every actual viewer with a 3x price increase means 84% less revenue. All said, I don't think we're at peak pro sports valuations yet. More people than ever are watching games, a positive signal for franchise valuations that have always been disconnected from underlying cash flow fundamentals as I break down here: roberteckstein.substack.com/p/evaluating-investment-in-the-nba-169

Software Alert 2024: Universal Software Model -- The future in the software world! 100 Programming Languages? Why not just ONE?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdW9qMq1wg0

usmXX -- The Power of XX as an Operating System for managing any informational problems -- a completely new conceptual approach in software,

on a new model - inspired from the real world!

The new system is based on only three concepts: Parameters of the problems, Subjects (not objects!) and the Informational Individuals!

As a matter of color ... a subject (in usmXX language) can be viewed as an informational cell, and an Informational Individual is becoming a chain of informational cells (software DNA).

The Language is ready (60%) as a prototype.

Too much human effort is stuck on the current software model. More real problems are waiting to be solved.

The Informational Reality is about Parameters and Subjects, much more then software abstractions, objects, or classifications.
